About me
Who am I?
Hello there, my name is Sander De Vos. I live in the green belt around Brussels, Belgium, in a picturesque rural town called Sint-Pieters-Leeuw.
I graduated as Bachelor in ICT in 2008 and began work as a Java Software Engineer for a large system integrator in Belgium. My daily job consists of development and analysis of enterprise applications. Take a look at my LinkedIn profile for my resume.
Why this blog?
Every day I work in the Java Enterprise domain with a range of technologies, frameworks and related infrastructure. It’s hard to keep track of all research for every problem I encounter and find solutions for, either small or big.
My main domain and likings in Java EE development is web development in all aspects, hence most of this blog will handle common technologies and frameworks like JSP, Servlets, Spring, EJB3, Hibernate, JSF, common libraries; building software like Ant and Maven2; deploying on servers like Tomcat and JBoss. Design patterns and software engineering tactics and coding style won’t be forgotten too.
And last but not least, every interesting fact or event.
Language choice?
My native language is Dutch but most of my articles will be written in English.
Happy reading and I hope some of this stuff will come in use for some of you. Oh, and don’t hesitate to leave a comment!
